Panda Salt & Pepper Shakers

Pandas have become a symbol for the friendship between the United States and China. Following President Nixon's visit in 1972, the government of China gifted the United States two giant pandas. First Lady Pat Nixon welcomed the pandas, Ling-Ling and Hsing-Hsing, at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. on April 20, 1972.
