Nixon for President Shirt

$19.95

The 1968 presidential campaign was one of the most hotly contested races in modern American history. The campaign ended almost in dead heat. After the polls closed, the nation waited into the next morning before a victor was declared. In the popular vote, Richard Nixon beat Hubert Humphrey by 43.4 percent to 42.7 percent, with George Wallace capturing 13.5 percent. The narrow margin actually translated to a large victory in the Electoral College: Nixon 301 votes, Humphrey 191, and Wallace 46.

This shirt features a button design from Richard Nixon's 1968 campaign.
