Official 1973 Inaugural Medal

The Official Inaugural Medal commemorating the second inauguration of President Richard Nixon and Vice President Spiro Agnew continues a tradition established in 1901, when the first Official Inaugural Medal was issued to commemorate the inauguration of President William McKinley and Vice President Theodore Roosevelt.

The classic double-portrait of President Nixon and Vice President Agnew which appears on the medal was sculptured by Gilroy Roberts, selected by the First Family, and minted by The Franklin Mint.

Medal is in good vintage condition. Packaging shows discoloration from age.
