The Big Orange

"The Big Orange" lays out the history of Republican politics in Orange County, California from 1950-2000. In it, Lois Lundberg tells how Orange County republicans played a role in the election of Richard Nixon to the presidency and Ronald Reagan to both Governor and President. She describes some of the important elections during the period and the groups and people instrumental in those elections.
